Port Limón, Costa Rica.

Justification

La Iglesia Renacer Internacional came to Puerto Limón, with the purpose to evangelize, to cooperate and to help in the social of the community. Never the less these projects mention above will be going to develop them in Central District of the City of Limón, we want to add value has a church to the community.

We heard about people with mental challenge (Clínica Chapui in San José, the Capital). For sometimes these client with mental challenge are drop off by Recope Moín, this represents risk to the people in that city. I haven´t  seen a solution by the authority regarding this problem.

We can help with healthy resources and donations, the problem that we have now is unemployment which leave the family of Port Limón with no support, to take care of their families. there is no money to take of the basic needs. 

How is the idea come forth?

The initiatives came forth as a Divine Vision of God. That was revealed to Pastor Lee and Prophet Wright, and they travel to Costa Rica, and to Puerto Limón, with the purpose to implement the vision that God gave them for Puerto Limón, Costa Rica. The first thing Pastor Lee and Prophet Wright done is secure a meeting with the Federación de Pastores Limonenses to provide verification of our documents that we are Pastors, and later the registration Asociación Iglesia Renacer International, located in the Province of Puerto Limón, Central District, First District.

Principal aspect of this vision is all these projects that we are going to develop in the Province of Limón, in the Central District, was given to Pastor Lee, by our Heavenly Father more than eleven years ago. And Prophet Wright came and confirmed the vision. We also must say that the Pastor is Costa Rican, and the prophet is from the United States, they are members of Resurrected Life Apostolic Church Bridgeport, Connecticut, and our covering for Asociación Iglesia Renacer Internacional is from Resurrected Life Apostolic Church, Pastor LaTonya Altman.

Since we arrive in Puerto Limón, we notice that a lot a people are homeless, that they sleep on the grounds of public and private businesses. This is one problem that is part of Asociación Iglesia Renacer Internacional vision, we are going to removed them from the streets and reinstate them back to the  community with the help of different institutions national or international.

To enforce the information regarding the homeless, this  very  close   to  our   hearts,  we are going to work hard in different aspects:

1. Special attention given to the homeless given them a path of rehabilitation this problem has increase in the last years.
2. Create a center to announce and teach about legislation, and government law, that will favor the rights of the homeless.
3. Accomplish the respective references for services to the different institutions private or public.
4. Formulate and execute projects on tract for the homeless, in the Disctric Central of Limon. We need the participation of the "IAFA bajo el Piloto de Descenso" the deterioration using as base the Human Rights, and it position the homeless has a central part of the process.
5. Products to the homeless they will received through the project "Salvando Almas para Cristo",  also reintegrate them back to jobs, in a professional way back to society.
6. The training is voluntary to reduce the damage to Human Rights, before the activities with the Homeless.
7. Secure a place free of discrimination or aggression. "Casa Roy"(Casa Alambre).
8. Take surveys to establish what cause the hardships and situations that drove them to become homeless.
9. We will be offering three services of food, during the activities that they are going to develop at Casa Roy (Casa Alambre), like Breakfast, Lunch, and dinner. And la Casa Violeta for the children breakfast, snack, lunch, snack and dinner.
10. We will also offer the services of showers, barbershop, clothes in good conditions, also receive donations so they can take with them one change of clothing and also be giving out hygiene items (toothbrush, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, and for lady sanitary towels.) etc.
11. Training using volunteers for workshops for prevention of sickness, for example washing of hands, and prevention of sexual transmission diseases. inclusive giving out preservatives.

Childhood and adolescence

The Asociación Renacer Internacional has added a program to give attention to youth , not to leave them out. But we also would like for this program to be administer by professional in the area of Social Work they will dedicate their attention to the population from the aspect of integral protection . 

Axes of Intervention
• Promotion and consolidation of Human Rights from childhood to adulthood.
• Formulate and execute the projects  for this community.
• Disclosure of campaign pro minors.
• Individual orientation in coordination with the PANI.
• Training groups on subject of interest.

Activities:

• Work together with Patronato Nacional de la Infancia e Instituto Interdisciplinario de Estudios Sobre Infancia, Niñez y Adolescencia.
• Methodology  working with the youth to prevent pregnancies.
• Training and empowerment of leadership  working with students.
• Drug use prevention in coordination with the anti-drug Police in the schools.
• Prevention of desertion of students in coordination with Ministerio de Educación Pública with life training skills.
• Formulation and tracing of projects in favor of the youth.
• Develop  diagnosis through Asociaciones de Desarrollo Comunal.
• Representation institutional comunal in the different networks for the youth.

What are we doing now, in order to implement our programs to the community of Limón?

1. Legal nomenclature in relation to  Política de Niñez y Adolescencia for  Limón community.

2. We are preparing training programs for the youth, and people encharge of the programs that we are developing in Limón community.
